The Markets function within Central Business Services (CBS) plays a pivotal role in enabling EY’s purpose and vision. Through distinctive, client‑centric marketing, brand, communications and business development initiatives, the team drives measurable market impact.
As EY Ireland continues to grow, we are now seeking a highly organised, proactive and client‑focused Events Supervising Associate to support the delivery of our strategic events and corporate hospitality programme. This role is instrumental in enhancing client relationships, supporting revenue growth opportunities, and strengthening our brand through exceptional event experiences.
This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for someone with early professional experience in events who is ready to step up into a more managerial, coordinating and stakeholder‑facing role within one of Ireland’s fastest‑growing professional services firms.

Position: Events Supervising Associate
The Markets function within Central Business Services (CBS) plays a critical role in helping deliver against EY’s purpose and vision, by delivering distinctive, client-centric marketing, brand, communications and business development initiatives, that have a measurable impact.
In line with our recent and projected growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a position within our Marketing team for an Events Supervising Associate. This is a great opportunity to join the EY Ireland Markets team, helping the business to win in the market, through enhancing client relationships, supporting opportunities for revenue growth and strengthening our brand, via our impressive programme of strategic events and corporate hospitality.
This is a new role within the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Events and Sponsorship.
This is an exciting, stimulating and challenging role for a highly committed and results-orientated person in one of Ireland’s fastest growing firms.
The Events Supervising Associate will:
- Support in the planning and execution of a wide range of client events; including breakfast briefings, seminars, roundtables, conferences, hospitality events etc
- Support more broadly in the delivery of Markets Initiatives across the Firm
- Manage printing requirements as needs arise (for e.g. name badges) and organise transportation of collateral to event venues
- Manage room and venue booking for key events, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate catering for in-house events
- Build invite lists for events and manage RSVPs, providing regular updates to the events team
- Be present at events for set-up and execution of the event.
- Attending to the registration desk and greeting attendees on arrival
- Create delegate packs and briefing packs for key events
- Support post event evaluation including compilation of post event review and survey
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
- Support the end‑to‑end planning, coordination and on‑site management of a broad portfolio of events including breakfast briefings, seminars, conferences, roundtables and corporate hospitality initiatives.
- Assist in developing event timelines, project plans and logistics frameworks to ensure seamless delivery.
- Oversee event set‑up, registration flow, guest experience and breakdown, acting as a key point of contact on the day.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Manage internal room and venue bookings, liaising closely with internal teams, external venues and suppliers.
- Coordinate catering, AV, décor and other operational requirements to ensure high‑quality execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to understand event objectives and support successful outcomes.
Event Administration & Logistics
- Oversee printing and production needs (e.g., badges, signage, collateral) and manage the transportation of event materials.
- Build and maintain invite lists, issue event communications and manage RSVPs, providing accurate attendee updates to the events team.
- Prepare event documentation including briefing packs, agendas and delegate materials.
Post‑Event Analysis
- Support evaluation of event success through surveys, feedback mechanisms and post‑event review documentation.
- Assist in identifying learnings and opportunities to continuously enhance the event programme.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated project coordination or event management experience, ideally within a corporate or fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistently high‑quality work.
- Proven relationship‑building skills and a collaborative working style.
- A proactive, results‑oriented mindset with a passion for creating exceptional event experiences.
