This is your chance to work closely with top entrepreneurs, build lasting relationships, and learn from the best in a fast-paced, high-performing team. You’ll help shape initiatives that champion entrepreneurship, drive innovation, and create a vibrant community of business leaders. If you’re looking for a role where your ideas matter and your work helps build a better working world, this is the opportunity for you.
About EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™
EY Entrepreneur Of The YearTM (EOY) is a programme that supports, advises and connects a community of entrepreneurs, and champions entrepreneurship across the island of Ireland. EOY has been running in Ireland for over 28 years. It is part of a global programme that is run by EY in over 60 countries, across six continents.
The EOY team is a small but high-performing team working closely with some of Ireland’s top entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial businesses. This role is a unique opportunity to work on a market-leading programme for a global organisation while simultaneously building relationships with, and learning from, Ireland’s leading founders and CEOs.
Connecting
One of the core strengths of the Irish EOY programme is the community of over 650 past finalists, our Alumni, that has been created through the programme over its 29 years. The Alumni Community is the biggest attraction for potential entrants and the glue that keeps our entrepreneurs engaged, with Alumni consistently highlighting the benefits of having like-minded peers to turn to with challenges, questions or business opportunities (75% do business together). Much of the EOY team’s efforts focus on designing initiatives to keep the Alumni challenged and engaged, such as our annual CEO Retreat to a global destination.
Supporting, advising
As a professional services firm, supporting and advising entrepreneurs is at the very heart of what we do. EOY helps our firm get to know the real challenges facing Ireland’s entrepreneurs, and we work with many of them towards achieving their business goals.
Championing entrepreneurship
We acclaim Ireland’s most successful entrepreneurs, providing role models and helping to create a culture of entrepreneurship in Ireland via traditional and digital media outlets such as our Finalist digital series, Architect of Business podcasts, our partnerships with The Irish Times and Newstalk FM, our own social media channels, plus any additional sponsorships or activities. Through our Alumni Board, we also work to make sure the voice of entrepreneurs is being heard at government level.
