You will work within Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) in Assurance, providing advisory services focused on the Financial Advisory agenda. The team operates across various industries and delivers projects throughout the Middle East, playing a critical role in supporting sustainability financial requirements in the region.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will develop and manage client relationships while collaborating with partners to establish a FAAS strategy that addresses risks and sector-specific challenges, particularly those related to ESG and sustainability.
You will ensure the FAAS engagement team comprehends client needs and expectations, delivering client-focused, clear, accurate, and well-presented work products. Timely delivery in compliance with regulatory requirements is crucial, as is monitoring the team's performance against the budget and making necessary adjustments.
Identifying and communicating relevant trends, developments, and key performance drivers related to sustainability and ESG will be essential. You will consult with appropriate resources on complex issues and contribute to the sales of new FAAS work.
Your leadership will encompass various areas, including Accounting Advisory, Budgeting and Reporting, Transformation Projects, and ESG and Sustainability Reporting.
Skills and attributes for success
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the related field, with significant experience in leading and delivering engagements in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
- Proven track record in leading and delivering large government transformation projects.
- Knowledge of IFRS and experience in leading and delivering relevant projects.
- Strong management skills to lead teams, delegate appropriately, mentor, review performance, and counsel employees.
- Ability and comfort level in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies, particularly in the context of sustainability and ESG.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Regional experience with a leading consulting firm.
- Proficiency in Arabic.
