The opportunity

We are currently aiming to recruit an Assistant Manager / Senior Consultant to join our team.

 

As a Procurement professional, you'll use your analytical insight to drive our clients’ global business performance. Working as part of a high-performing team, you'll deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations improve their procurement and sourcing performance.

 

Our Supply Chain & Operations - Procurement team members provide insights into procurement transformation covering:

 

  • Spend Management: cost optimization, category management, strategic sourcing
  • Procurement Operating Model Transformation
  • Procurement Digitalization
  • Procurement Operations
  • Strategy & Investment initiatives, with a focus on Abu Dhabi transformation programs
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation
  • New Entity Operationalization and operating model deployment
  • Renewables and Energy Transition programs

 

Your key responsibilities

Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership. You will actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

 

  • Strong procurement project experience in industry or consulting, preferably within procurement transformation, sourcing, operating model, or business transformation initiatives
  • Proven experience working with government entities, public sector organizations, sovereign wealth funds, government-led transformation programs, or investment-focused organizations
  • 3 to 5 years of consulting experience, ideally with a Tier 1 consultancy or leading professional services firm
  • Outstanding academic record to at least Bachelor's degree level
  • Experience and passion for digital solutions and trends, Target Operating Model development, new entity operationalization, third-party spend management, strategy and investment initiatives, renewables, or leading supply chain solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial flair and the ability to identify business opportunities and cross-sell different services and/or products
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken

We’re interested in professionals with a deep understanding of procurement change across sectors, with demonstrated experience supporting government or public sector clients. You’ll need to be comfortable handling several responsibilities at once, often with shifting priorities. It’s a highly collaborative environment, where you’ll be building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels, including senior government stakeholders, so you’ll also need to be genuinely engaging, with strong stakeholder management skills.
