The opportunity


As part of the growth of the EY MENA Actuarial practice we are looking for talented individuals that are passionate and enthusiastic and that share in our vision of building a successful practice through maximum individual growth and development.




The successful candidate will possess well-balanced technical and people skills, and will have:

  • Experience within the actuarial fields of reserving, pricing and capital modelling
  • Strong IFRS 17 knowledge and experience at an insurance company or consultancy
  • Undergraduate degree in an actuarial/ mathematics field
  • 8+ years of experience in the actuarial domain
  • Qualified Fellow from a globally recognized actuarial body
  • Strong experience in financial reporting (GCC preferable)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills
  • Experience with managing teams and mentoring junior team members
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exposure to Senior management and Company Boards
  • Willingness to travel to client locations across MENA
  • A strong sense of commercial awareness

Your key responsibilities

As a member of the MENA Actuarial team you will contribute to the technical and operational aspects of the project delivery. You will work effectively as part of a team providing support, maintaining communication, and updating engagement directors and partners on progress. You'll also build valuable relationships with external clients and internal peers.


You will contribute to the thought leadership and solution development of the team. In addition, you'll be expected contribute to presentations and provide inputs to proposals.
