The opportunity
The EY CCaSS team is actively looking for Manager with experience in Government/ Infrastructure, Financial or Energy Sector along with consulting experience, including exposure to energy management, HSE management systems, Circular Economy, Climate Risk and net zero strategies.

Your key responsibilities:
In this role, you will work on multiple client engagements, supporting the project delivery and engagement economics, providing support, developing relationships, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress across a range of industries; Government/ Infrastructure/ Energy/ Energy. Work with teams in developing and implementing sustainability strategies for clients, focusing on long-term transformation and performance improvement. Analyze regulatory changes, trends, assess organizational strengths and weaknesses, and create solutions to complex business challenges.
- Develop and execute client sustainability, ESG, climate risk and net zero strategies across government and financial sectors.
- Drive business development, identify market opportunities, and help convert new engagements.
- Manage project delivery from scoping to final deliverables, ensuring best-in-class consulting quality.
- Build, manage, and mentor project teams, supporting growth and knowledge transfer.
- Advise clients on ESG reporting, regulatory requirements (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, local regulations).
- Lead client workshops and presentations; maintain and grow client relationships.
This role requires strong analytical, communication, presentation and leadership skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.

To qualify for the role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance.
- At least 8-10 years of direct experience in sustainability/ESG consulting, with at least 2 years at a management level.
- Proven business development and sales skills; ability to identify and act on new engagement opportunities.
- Demonstrated project management capability, including plan/budget/schedule management.
- Deep knowledge of ESG and sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, etc.).
- Experience in preparing or reviewing sustainability/ESG strategy or reports for large organizations.
- Communication and presentation skills in Arabic.
- Experience working with financial services, government, or large corporations in GCC/MENA is strongly preferred.
- Analytical, problem-solving approach with ability to interpret data and regulations.
- Flexibility to travel within GCC as assignments require.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Carbon markets - developing policy, knowhow of carbon markets, carbon credits, net zero decarbonization.
- Sustainable Finance - Green bonds, loans.
- ESG ratings, ESG strategy.
- Climate risk assessment.
- Supply chain / Circularity.
