The Role: Service and Experience Designer (medior)

 

We’re looking for a service and experience strategist with 3–6 years of experience who can translate complex challenges into future-proof strategies. You’ll guide clients in defining where to play and how to win by shaping compelling experiences, value propositions, and business models.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

Research & Insight Generation

  • Frame strategic questions and conduct qualitative/quantitative research to understand user, market, and business dynamics.
  • Identify unmet needs, trends, and emerging opportunities to shape experience strategies.
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Visualizing and understanding the user's experience from start to finish. 
  • Translate insights into experience principles and strategic opportunity spaces.

 

Strategy & Vision Building

  • Define future experience visions and roadmaps, balancing user desirability, business viability, and technical feasibility.
  • Craft value propositions, service blueprints, and business scenarios that guide executive decision-making.
  • Design experiences, services, products and business that answer the end users’ needs and solve their pain points.
  • Define strategic deliverables, including customer journey and experience maps, ecosystem maps, and CX strategy & frameworks.

 

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize analytics, data, and user feedback to measure the impact of initiatives and optimize journeys.
  • Translate evidence into actionable recommendations that improve effectiveness and strengthen client strategies.

 

Strategic Storytelling & Advisory

  • Create compelling narratives, visualizations, and presentations that articulate complex strategies with clarity and impact.
  • Influence senior stakeholders, helping them make bold, informed choices.
  • Facilitate strategic workshops that unlock creativity, alignment, and decision-making.

 

Your Profile

  • 3–6 years of experience in experience strategy, service strategy, or strategy consulting.
  • Strong background in human-centered design thinking, customer experience, service design, and innovation strategy.
  • Experience creating customer journeys, value propositions, business models, and customer-focused organizations.
  • Ability to connect user needs with strategic business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven experience using data and metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills – able to craft strategies that resonate with executives.
  • Skilled at facilitating workshops and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Fluent in English and at least either Dutch or French.
