The Opportunity

EY Legal & Regulatory is looking for ambitious and talented legal and regulatory Senior Managers who accumulated 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial regulatory topics, combined with  the right level of entrepreneurial and managerial skills.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager Legal & Regulatory, you will work closely with clients to help them navigate complex new and existing regulations, ensuring compliance while driving business success. You will manage the team to provide strategic legal and regulatory advice, drive regulatory implementation projects, and collaborate with financial institutions' C-level, compliance and legal teams.

Additionally, as you’ll take ownership and responsibility of projects and client accounts, you will play a pivotal role – both in managing engagements and in contributing to our go-to-market strategies, translating client challenges into clear, strategic outcomes.

As a Senior Manager you’ll also play a vital role in the expansion of our business. Your role will include managing client accounts, business development, and helping shape the future of EY’s Legal & Regulatory services. You’ll be able to leverage your colleagues knowledge, expertise and resources in building a solid business and become a trusted advisor for our clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• (Belgian) Master's degree in Law
• Professional experience (between 8 – 10 years), either within a consultancy firm, law firm or financial institution.
• Solid knowledge of financial.
• Ability to perform in-depth and creative analysis to be able to find pragmatic solutions for our client’s challenges.
• Outstanding client stakeholder management skills and ability to build and expand client relationships.
• Perfect oral and written knowledge of Dutch and/or French, with an excellent knowledge of English.
• The right level of managerial and commercial skills.
• Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy.
