Senior Consultant Supply Chain - Life Sciences

For our growing Supply Chain and Operations practice in Belgium we are looking for a Senior Consultant to strengthen our Life Sciences team.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant you support and (co-)lead project delivery teams improving our client’s business performance. Drawing on your knowledge, skills and experience, you will in addition start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers, support proposals and develop thought leadership.

You will work independently as well as in teams. You will coach and support consultants and client team members, perform analyses and report finding and results. You will share your expertise with other colleagues in the life sciences center of excellence of EY Belgium ranging across different consulting competences (Finance, Supply Chain, Technology,…).

Your knowledge and experience, combined with EY’s thought leadership on the future of Life Sciences, will allow you to provide innovative insights for our clients, adapting our service offerings, solutions, and methods to fit the operational teams and cultural needs.

You are thorough and result oriented and work together with the client on implementing solutions. You often work in an international environment on projects with a significant impact on company results.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A master’s degree, preferably in Industrial, Business or Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics related fields and with strong academic records;
• Approximately 2-5 years of professional experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering sustained improvements in business performance, gained in industry and/or consulting
• You are passionate about Supply Chain and can rely on first working experience in this field (Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and Planning) within the life sciences sector.  
• You are technologically savvy and have a deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks GDP/GMP .
• Fluent Language skills - written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch
• Excellent analytical capabilities, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills and pragmatism in execution

• The capability to spot where to find new value in supply chain planning and explain it simple.
