As a Senior Consultant within EY Studio+, you will help leading companies transform their digital products, platforms and business processes.
As a Senior Consultant in Marketing Automation at EY Studio+ in Belgium, you will be the hands-on expert who builds sophisticated customer journeys and marketing operations inside leading marketing platforms. This is an execution-focused role where you design campaigns, architect automation workflows, and optimize client marketing operations for measurable impact.
You'll work directly with marketing teams, translating their business objectives into real journeys, segments, and workflows within their MarTech stack. You're comfortable recommending platform approaches and optimizations, but your superpower is building beautiful, efficient automation that actually works.
You're a platform expert who combines deep operational knowledge with strategic thinking and a passion for making marketing technology deliver real business results.
Your Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering
- Journey design & execution: Design and build sophisticated customer journeys, multi-touch campaigns, and complex automation workflows within marketing platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce Campaign, Adobe Campaign, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Segmentation & personalization: Create audience segments, implement behavioral triggers, and build personalized communication strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
- Campaign optimization: Build, test, and optimize marketing campaigns across email, digital, and omnichannel touchpoints. Track performance, analyze results, and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Platform expertise: Master 2-3 major marketing automation platforms. Advise clients on best practices, recommend workflows and configurations, and help them maximize platform capabilities.
- Client workshops & training: Facilitate strategy workshops to design automation approaches. Train client teams to execute and maintain campaigns independently.
- Strategic recommendations: Advise clients on marketing operations improvements, suggest when platform changes might be needed, and help prioritize automation initiatives.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work alongside strategists, marketers, and designers to translate business objectives into operational reality.
Your Profile
You have:
- A Master's degree
- 5-7 years of proven experience building and executing marketing campaigns in major marketing automation platforms.
- Expert proficiency in at least 2 of these platforms: HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Campaign), Adobe Campaign, Klaviyo, or similar.
- Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context;
- Proven track record designing and implementing complex customer journeys and automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and behavioral marketing.
- Experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, and multi-channel campaign execution.
- Solid knowledge of marketing metrics, ROI tracking, and campaign performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain marketing operations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable in consulting environments working with diverse clients and industries.
- Fluency in English and one of Dutch or French is mandatory.
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to find creative solutions within platform constraints.
