Senior Consultant Invest Analyst - Business Transformation - Financial Services

Join our Business Transformation team at EY, where we are looking for Analysts / Senior Consultants to strengthen our Invest practice.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of Private Banking, Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) and regulatory topics (e.g., MiFID).
You will bring strong business expertise to support our clients in adapting their investment offering, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving client-centric investment journeys.

This role is designed for professionals with a strong content background, rather than a pure consulting profile.

Your key responsibilities

• Investment expertise:
  Bring deep understanding of investment products, advisory processes, and client portfolio management within Private Banking / WAM
• Regulatory advisory (MiFID):
  Contribute to the design and implementation of regulatory-compliant investment processes (e.g., suitability, investor protection, reporting)
• Process improvement:
  Analyze and optimize front-to-back investment processes (advisory, execution, reporting)
• Client engagement:
  Work closely with business stakeholders (advisors, product teams, compliance) to translate regulatory and business needs into practical solutions
• Transformation support:
  Support transformation initiatives impacting investment activities (digital advisory, product governance, client experience)
• Workshops & deliverables:
  Contribute to workshops, business analysis, and high-quality client deliverables

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience (critical):
  Background in Private Bank, Asset Manager, or Wealth Manager
  (roles such as investment advisor, portfolio manager, product specialist, compliance officer, etc.)
• Regulatory knowledge:
  Solid understanding of MiFID and investment-related regulations
• Content over consulting:
  Strong functional expertise is more important than prior consulting experience
• Analytical mindset:
  Ability to structure complex investment / regulatory topics into clear, actionable insights
• Stakeholder management:
  Strong communication skills and ability to interact with front-office and compliance teams
• Languages:
  Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with good command of English
• Mindset:
  Hands-on, pragmatic, and client-oriented, with team spirit and autonomy
