Your key responsibilities
- Provide expert consulting services to insurance and banking clients, advising on SAP technical strategy, and digital transformation.
- Design and architect SAP solution environments that align with our client's business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Translate complex financial requirements into high-level architectural blueprints, demonstrating a clear vision and understanding of client needs.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, managing technical deliverables and ensuring projects are executed with excellence.
- Influence key stakeholders across the client’s organization, from IT teams to executive leadership, steering them towards strategic technology investments.
- Drive continuous personal and professional development within your teams, advocating for knowledge sharing and technical proficiency.
Skills and attributes for success
With strong analytical thinking and the ability to grasp complex issues, coupled with a very good university degree (diploma, master's, doctorate) in computer science, physics, mathematics, economics or a comparable course of study, a strong affinity for technology and a high degree of flexibility and resilience, you will find a wide range of development opportunities with us. We expect you the lead and grow the local SAP group in financial management.
You also have the following skillset:
- At least five years of professional experience in the finance environment.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on the banking and / or insurance industry.
- Proven experience leading SAP teams and projects, demonstrating the ability to mentor and drive high-performance cultures.
- Extensive know-how in SAP R/3, SAP ERP FI/CO modules and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and controlling.
- Extensive experience in the responsible support of SAP implementation projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of French/Dutch and English.
