Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a manager in our Transactions & Corporate Finance team with a focus on valuation and modeling. When starting at EY-Parthenon, you will set a broad foundation of knowledge and allows you to become a well-rounded advisor with both technical excellence and deep sector understanding as your career progresses. 

Your Key Responsibilities

• • Be responsible for the execution of valuation and financial modelling projects and have the opportunity to lead EY-Parthenon teams and manage interactions with client management and senior members of the EY-Parthenon team
  • Participate in the preparation of deliverables including  financial models, reports, presentations and discussions with the client
  • Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
  • Apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to support resolution of issues
  • Assist senior team members in developing new business
  • Provide coaching to others, share your technical and other knowledge with your team

Your Profile

• A strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering (Management or Industrial) or other related field
• The ability to demonstrate intellectual rigour and commercial awareness, combined with first-class numeracy and analytical skills
• 5+ years of related work experience in valuation, corporate finance, strategic planning, financial modelling; financial /debt advisory
• Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience,
• Valuation knowledge and financial modelling ability and experience
• Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
• Strong project management and organisation skills – as a manager in the team you would be in a charge of projects, discuss directly with clients and mentor junior team members
• Strong knowledge and awareness of evolving data analytics tools and related software, including data visualization and database skills to connect data and deliver decision making solutions
• Experience of managing the client relationship and using this to create new business opportunities
• Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
• Excellent report writing, communication skills both oral and written in English with knowledge of Dutch or French
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work as part of a diverse team, build effective relationships at all levels and handle multiple responsibilities
