Our Tax department counts in Belgium about 350 employees who render advice in :
•    Business/Corporate Tax 
•    Human Capital 
•    Indirect Tax (VAT, customs and excises) 
•    International Tax (including TP) 
•    Transactional Tax 


Our Private Tax Department is currently looking for a Manager in the domain of Corporate/Business Tax in order to support our growth in the Brussels region. We invite you to consult our website to find out more about our tax department, our other business lines and our values. 

 

Tasks & responsibilities
 

As a manager in the Private Tax department, you will: 
•    Advise Belgian based companies in respect of Belgian and foreign tax matters, incl cross border tax matters. 
•    Oversee and manage a team of young tax advisors 
•    Work effectively as a member of a worldwide network of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress 
•    Manage the preparation of reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties 
•    Build strong internal relationships within the Tax practice and across other service lines 
•    Build relationships with prospective clients and companies 
 
People responsibilities
•    Help people to develop through the effective conveyance of tax knowledge and experience by supervision, coaching and mentoring 
•    Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff 
•    Contribute to people initiatives, including recruitment, retention and training
 
We are looking for candidates with the following background:
•      Master’s degree in law or economics potentially with a supplementary degree in taxation 
•      5-8  years of relevant experience in national and international corporate Tax matters 
•      Market and client focused 
•      Team player with sound communication skills 
•      Good project management skills 
•      Good  knowledge of English, Dutch and/or French.
