EY Parthenon provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, business modeling, due diligence and financial consulting. Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.
Within EY Parthenon, our Mergers and Acquisitions team is looking to reinforce the team with talented professionals in a Manager Mergers and Acquisitions role.
Key responsibilities
As a Manager Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be responsible for managing the execution on selected transactions as well as support and initiate business origination efforts in close cooperation with the M&A leadership. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Transaction execution - take the lead in key workstreams such as the drafting of all marketing materials (information memorandum, teaser, management presentation, etc.), client management, financial modeling etc. as well support in the negotiation of transaction documentation;
- Origination - initiate origination ideas by following key trends as well as by building sector knowledge and supporting strategic dialogues with potential clients;
- The team - contribute in the further development of the M&A team by sharing knowledge and best practices with the rest of team while continuously monitoring new evolutions in tools, analysis etc.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, business or related subject;
- 5-8 years of experience, within a consultancy firm, (investment) bank or M&A department of a large corporate;
- Team player, eager to share knowledge and help others grow, stress-resistant, entrepreneurial, pro-active and hands-on;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, client-focused and result-oriented;
- Experienced in organization and planning throughout the M&A process;
- Strong analytical skills with good understanding of financial results and valuation techniques;
- Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English, orally and in writing;
- Very capable in PowerPoint and Excel.
