Within EY, Our Financial Services Legal & Regulatory team blends legal and regulatory expertise with business insights to advise top-tier financial institutions. The Opportunity

EY Legal & Regulatory is looking for ambitious and talented legal and regulatory Managers who accumulated five to nine years of relevant experience in financial regulatory topics and have the right entrepreneurial and managerial skills, or are eager to (further) develop those. Key Responsibilities

As a Manager Legal & Regulatory, you will work closely with clients to help them navigate complex new and existing regulations, ensuring compliance while driving business success. You will provide strategic legal and regulatory advice, drive regulatory implementation projects, and collaborate with financial institutions' C-level, compliance and legal teams.

Additionally, as you’ll take ownership and responsibility of projects, you will play a pivotal role in the team in managing, guiding and coordinating the team members in the day-to-day delivery, ensuring the projects are managed effectively and client needs are met.

As a Manager you’ll also play a vital role in the expansion of our business. Your role will include client interaction, business development, and helping shape the future of EY’s Legal & Regulatory services. You’ll be able to leverage your colleagues knowledge, expertise and resources in building a solid business and become a trusted advisor for our clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• (Belgian) Master's degree in Law
• Professional experience (between 5 – 9 years), either within a consultancy firm, law firm or financial institution
• Solid knowledge of financial regulations with the willingness to learn further in this field.
• Ability to perform in-depth and creative analysis to be able to find pragmatic solutions for our client’s challenges.
• Outstanding client stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships through solid communication and presentation skills.
• Perfect oral and written knowledge of Dutch and/or French, with an excellent knowledge of English.
• Managerial and commercial skills, or a strong willingness to develop them
• Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy.
