Manager Invest - Business Transformation - Financial Services

The opportunity

Join our Business Transformation team at EY, where we are looking for an experienced Manager to strengthen our Invest practice.

In this role, you will support clients across Asset Management, Financial Markets, Private Banking and Wealth Management in shaping and delivering strategic transformation programs. You will work on topics ranging from investment advisory and regulatory change to digital strategy, operating model design and implementation.

We are looking for a profile with strong industry expertise, ideally complemented by consulting experience. You should be able to understand strategic ambitions, translate them into concrete programs and drive execution together with client teams.

Your key responsibilities

• Strategic program shaping:
  Help clients define and structure strategic transformation programs across Invest, Private Banking, Wealth Management and Asset Management.
• Strategy-to-execution translation:
  Translate strategic priorities into concrete projects, roadmaps, operating model changes and delivery plans.
• Digital transformation:
  Support clients from digital strategy to implementation, including client journeys, advisory tooling, investment platforms and front-to-back process improvement.
• Investment and regulatory expertise:
  Bring strong understanding of investment products, advisory processes, MiFID requirements and broader regulatory topics impacting investment activities.
• Stakeholder management:
  Interact with senior stakeholders across business, front office, compliance, product, operations and technology teams.
• Project and team management:
  Manage workstreams, coordinate teams, monitor progress, structure deliverables and ensure high-quality project execution.
• Client deliverables and workshops:
  Lead workshops, prepare executive-level materials and translate complex investment topics into clear, actionable recommendations.

Skills and attributes for success

• Professional experience:
  5–7 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Financial Markets / dealing room, Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Consulting experience:
  Prior experience in consulting is a strong plus, especially in business transformation, digital strategy, operating model design or implementation programs.
• Industry expertise:
  Strong understanding of investment activities, financial products, advisory models, client servicing and regulatory requirements such as MiFID.
• Strategic thinking:
  Ability to understand strategic objectives and translate them into practical initiatives, project plans and execution steps.
• Digital mindset:
  Interest and experience in digital transformation, from strategy definition to actual implementation in a financial services context.
• Leadership skills:
  Ability to manage workstreams, coach junior team members and drive alignment across different client stakeholders.
• Languages:
  Dutch-speaking profiles are preferred. French is considered a plus, combined with a strong command of business English.
• Mindset:
  Pragmatic, structured, hands-on and client-oriented, with the ability to move between strategic discussions and concrete delivery.
