About EY People Advisory Services: At EY, our People Advisory Services (PAS) department, which is part of the Tax & Legal service line, specializes in all aspects of people and talent management. We help clients in designing and implementing an integrated people strategy. We assist companies move talent across the globe, and support organizations in managing their global workforce in a compliant, efficient, and people‑centric way. Our Immigration team advises multinational clients on immigration strategies and processes, compliance and risk management for their mobile talent workforce.

To further drive the growth of our immigration practice, we are looking for an Immigration Manager to reinforce and lead our team. While Diegem will be your main office, we offer flexible working arrangements, working from home or from our offices in Antwerp, Ghent or Hasselt.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an entrepreneurial Immigration Manager, you will lead and manage our immigration team and closely work with clients to help them navigate through complex new and existing regulations, ensuring compliance while driving business success:

  • You are the primary responsible for the client relationship, the quality of our service delivery and financial management of your client portfolio.
  • You are overseeing the end‑to‑end service delivery, and advise clients on complex cases, preferred immigration routes and the impact on our clients’ businesses.
  • You act as a trusted point of contact for clients.
  • You monitor legislative developments and develop and maintain a dialogue with immigration authorities and stakeholders.
  • You contribute to the growth of our immigration practice by actively searching for market opportunities and offerings, and participate to request for proposals.
  • You build strong relations with our global PAS immigration network and immigration counterparts around the globe.
  • You are a key contributor to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and digitalisation initiatives within our immigration team.
  • You act as a coach and counselor for the team members in Belgium, and our offshore team.
  • You interact and closely work with other teams within our PAS department  (HR Legal, Income Tax and Reward teams) to serve as a one stop shop for clients for all global mobility related aspects.

 

Your Profile

You have/are:

  • A master’s degree (preferably in Law or Economics).
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in advising multinational organizations on Belgian immigration matters, at least 1-3 years of experience as a Team leader or Executive.
  • A strong knowledge of Belgian, European and global immigration legislation and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch or French.
  • A client‑oriented mindset, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex topics in a clear manner to support decision-making.
  • A proven teamplayer, strong communicator and motivator with an interest in working in a multidisciplinary environment.
