Join our dedicated reward team within the People Advisory Services department with remuneration experts, technology enthusiasts, and data wizards spread across 5 offices in Belgium. Our team focuses on improving reward policies and practices, supporting clients on topics ranging from reducing employment costs to setting up compensation & benefits strategies. We continuously update and inform our clients of legislative changes and innovations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Labor cost represents a substantial cost for employers, making it imperative for businesses to carefully evaluate every opportunity for financial optimization. In today's competitive market, staying ahead requires a comprehensive understanding of the various exemptions and financial support provided by the government. In addition, by optimizing payroll processes the employer’s risk exposure will be hedged, which not only reduces the financial burden but also positions a company as a forward-thinking, cost-efficient employer. As a Manager Employer Reward within the Reward team, you will lead complex client engagements, provide strategic advice, coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, and help clients unlock the full potential of today’s opportunities for employers.
You will lead projects and advise clients on questions such as:
- Is my company’s withholding tax exemption (e.g., R&D or Night & Shift) in line with latest legislation and optimally calculated?
- Is my company’s payroll cost optimized?
- Is my company eligible to receive financial support for my employees’ learning and development?
You will play a key role in business development by identifying prospective clients, pursuing new opportunities, and providing leadership within the market.
Your Profile
You have:
- A master’s degree in law or economics, potentially complemented by a supplementary degree in fiscal matters.
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in reward, compensation and benefits, payroll consulting, or a similar advisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, combined with fluency in English.
- A strong client-focused mindset and the ability to lead teams in delivering high-quality, impactful solutions.
- A strategic and innovative mindset, with a strong interest in new ways of working and the ability to translate complexity into practical solutions for clients.
- Experience in managing teams, developing client relationships, contributing to business development and go-to-market activities.
- Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context.
