Our internal Legal Department is instrumental in guiding the executive management and various business units through the complexities of commercial, corporate, and civil law. We also provide expert advice on regulatory matters, oversee litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and manage specialized legal projects.

As a vital member of our compact legal team, you will report directly to the General Counsel. We expect you to integrate swiftly into our team, establish a robust internal network, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments and countries.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse array of agreements, such as client and supplier contracts, NDAs, consortium agreements, IT agreements, and real estate agreements.
• Supporting M&A projects.
• Supporting the corporate housekeeping processes.
• Offering legal assistance to EY's internal functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Facilities, and Risk Management, on both national and international levels.

Your Profile 

• You hold a Master's degree in law.
• Bringing approximately 1 to 4 years of relevant experience, either within a law firm's corporate/commercial department or as in-house counsel, is expected.
• A strong interest in IT contract negotiations is essential.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is necessary.
• A collaborative mindset and a strong desire to learn and work closely with colleagues are key qualities.
• A genuine interest in the business implications of legal issues, along with the ability to balance legal considerations with business needs, is highly valued.
