As part of our Tax Quality and Risk Management (TQ) department, you will play a decisive role in ensuring EY’s compliance with legislation and quality standards. EY is subject to various reviews from outside regulators. The TQ department plays a decisive role in shaping EY's perception and operations. Working with us grants you an inside look at EY's business processes. We firmly believe in learning on the job, backed by solid support from our seasoned professionals, acting as your mentors in this dynamic, passion-filled team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Research, apply, and continuously improve professional procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Monitor compliance activities and reporting, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Deliver compliance advice based on risk assessments and proactively enhance Quality & Risk effectiveness.
- Promote a strong quality- and risk-focused compliance culture through communication and training initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with EY’s independence and legal teams across Belgium and internationally.
- Liaise with and manage formalities with our professional body, the Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants (ITAA).
- Monitor and support corrective actions related to compliance, ensuring effective follow-up and continuous improvement.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree from a Belgian university or a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a Belgian institution.
- First experience in compliance, AML, or quality management is a plus; recent graduates are welcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch or French (native level), with strong proficiency in English.
- Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context.
- Team player with the ability to perform under pressure, combined with a strong client service and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working with technology and compliance-related tools.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and well-organized.
- Recent graduate or candidate with up to three years of relevant professional experience.
