To support our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Consultant or Manager in Debt Advisory Expert to strengthen our Debt Advisory and Corporate Finance team.

As a Senior Manager in Debt Advisory, you will play a central role in the origination, structuring and execution of financing transactions for corporates, investors and project sponsors. You will guide clients throughout the full financing lifecycle, from strategic discussions to closing.

Your Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Execution

• Lead debt advisory mandates including (re)financing, growth financing, acquisition financing, restructuring and capital markets transactions.
• Advise on optimal financing structures for working capital, long-term investments, acquisitions and project financing.
• Manage end-to-end lender selection and competitive tendering processes.
• Integrate ESG-related strategies into financing processes.
• Conduct and review financial analyses, credit assessments and cash flow modelling.
• Prepare and negotiate key transaction documents: teasers, management presentations, information memoranda, term sheets and/or loan documentation.
• Advise on PD rating methodologies, stressed/distressed lending solutions and restructuring scenarios.

Specialist Financing Expertise

Deliver innovative solutions across the full range of financing products, including:

• Working capital & trade finance solutions
• Long-term financing structures, covering real estate, capex, M&A, acquisition finance and project finance (including PPP / DBFM)
• Advanced debt solutions, such as ESG-linked financing instruments, fundraising, equipment leasing & property leasing, government-supported facilities (EIB), ECA-backed export financing, crowdlending
• Debt Capital Markets transactions, including bilateral loans, club deals, syndicated loans, (convertible) bond issuances and private placements.

Business Development & Leadership

• Drive the growth of Debt Advisory through proactive market engagement and origination of new opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to knowledge building, coach junior colleagues and help develop best practices within the team.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, business or a related field (CFA is an asset).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance, structured finance, project finance (PPP/DBFM) and/or debt capital markets.
• Proven track record in structuring and executing a range of debt solutions.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, credit analysis, financial modelling and cash-flow projections.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in C-level interactions.
