Our Cyber Security practice provides independent business & information security advice to our clients in the field of financial services. As a future Cyber Security Consultant, you will help our clients in the following domains:


  • Threat intelligence and management
  • Vulnerability assessment (attack & penetration testing, red team testing)
  • Security incident management
  • Third party security management
  • Secure development
  • Information security compliance (ISO27001, ISMS, PCI, regulatory compliance)
  • Security risk management
  • Crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Security program management
  • Data protection and privacy

Your key responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity consultant skilled in data protection and privacy, you:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of privacy principles and understand expectations of clients in order to develop different business processes and products. You will stay up to date of the market trends.
  • Assess, review and develop policies, processes and procedures for the processing of personal data in compliance with laws, regulations, standards and policies. You will also highlight risks and gaps of those policies.
  • Deploy data scanning solutions. You will configure the tool to scan for structured and unstructured data across the system, according to the requirements of the organization.
  • Advice client on data protection laws and regulations and their implications for the client. You will stay up to date of new regulations and updates.
  • Conduct data protection impact assessments and identify privacy risks.
  • Implement privacy by design and by default frameworks and provide adequate solutions. You will provide trainings and workshops on those subjects.  
  • Map functional requirements of privacy processes to technical requirements in the tool. You will configure personal solutions adapted to the requirements of the client.
  • Support the drafting of data transfer agreements to third parties. You will examine the guarantees provided by third parties and assess whether they are sufficient regarding data protection and privacy, or not.
  • Deliver and evaluate training programs. You will implement trainings processes personalized to the target.


Who are we looking for?


  • A Bachelor or Master's Degree in an data protection related field of study
  • Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with proficient level of business English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
  • Any certification regarding data protection and privacy (CISM, CIPP/e, CIPT, CIPM, CISSP, ISO27001, DPO, or other) is an asset
  • Knowledge of common vulnerability assessments (Nessus, Qualys, …), IT technologies (databases, operating systems, networks) and IT processes (change management, access management, incident management) is an asset
