We assist companies move talent across the globe, and support organizations in managing their global workforce in a compliant, efficient, and people‑centric way. Our Global Immigration team advises multinational clients on immigration strategies and processes, compliance and risk management for their mobile talent workforce.
To support the continued growth of our immigration practice, we are looking for an experienced Consultant to join our team. While Diegem will be your main office, we offer flexible working arrangements, working from home or from our offices in Antwerp, Ghent or Hasselt.
Your Key Responsibilities
As part of our Immigration team, you will support clients with immigration matters throughout the full lifecycle of their workforce’s international assignments and cross-border employments, focusing on complex advisory and operational execution:
- Advising multinational clients on Belgian and international immigration regulations, including work permits, residence permits, visas and posted workers’ compliance.
- Managing end‑to‑end immigration cases, including initiation, document collection, preparing and filing of work and residence permits, and follow‑up with relevant authorities.
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, assignees, and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring legislative developments and translating immigration changes into practical client advice.
- Supporting with immigration aspects of international assignments, cross‑border employment set‑ups, and mobility programs.
- Assisting with audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to immigration processes and compliance.
- Contributing to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and digitalisation initiatives within our immigration team.
Your Profile
You have/are:
- A Master’s degree in Law (Social Sciences, International Relations, or similar).
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and strong interest in advising companies on immigration aspects associated with international mobility programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch and/or French are strong assets.
- A client‑oriented mindset and the ability to translate complex immigration rules into clear advice.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- A teamplayer with an interest in working in a multidisciplinary environment.
