EY People Advisory Services (PAS) within our Tax & Legal service line specializes in everything that has anything to do with people management. EY’s People Advisory Services help clients in designing and implementing an integrated people strategy. We provide advice on everything from planning development programs and remuneration packages, to efficiently managing global secondments and digitizing workflows. EY People Advisory Services professionals can help effectively harness the people agenda as part of an integrated business strategy. The Reward team is a dedicated, multidisciplinary team within the People Advisory Services department consisting of more than 50 remuneration experts, technology geeks and data wizards spread over 5 offices in Belgium. Within our team, we mostly focus on improving reward policies and practices. We support our clients on topics ranging from reduction of employment costs to the setup of compensation & benefits strategies. In addition, we continuously update and inform our clients on legislative changes and innovations. 
To serve our clients to the best extent possible, we have identified 3 strong fields of play within our team:

  • Employer Reward Experience
  • Employee Reward Experience
  • Data & Tech Reward Experience 

 

Your Key Responsibilities
Ever wondered how you can offer a package that is both attractive for employees and tax/social/cost optimal for companies? As an employer, it is essential to adopt a fair, attractive, flexible, transparent, and sustainable compensation package. This is crucial to ensure employee loyalty and to remain competitive in the war for talent. Additionally, you need to closely monitor all changes in the tax, social, and labor law landscape. As an Employee Reward Consultant within the Reward team, you will guide employers in rethinking their reward and remuneration strategy so they can make the best choices for their company and their employees. 
You will be involved in projects answering client questions such as:

  • How can we position ourselves as an attractive employer in the market?
  • Should we offer more flexibility in the benefits and remuneration we provide to our employees?
  • How can we create a lasting People Experience in our remuneration strategy?
  • What are the new trends in the market?
  • How can we optimize the current remuneration package of the employee population?

 

Your Profile 
You have:

  • A master’s degree in law or economics potentially with a supplementary degree in fiscal matters.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch or/and French. Next to that, you are fluent in English.
  • An innovative and collaborative mindset that strives to deliver the exceptional experience to our clients.
  • An untamable curiosity about the new working world to create new solutions considering different aspects.
  • You are available to start as soon as possible.
