Your Key Responsibilities

• Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Actively seek out and pursue new business prospects to drive revenue growth.
• Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with target customers, particularly at the C-suite level.
• Manage Key Client Relationships: Oversee existing client relationships while working to cultivate new ones, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Expand Company Profile: Enhance the visibility and reach of the company within the industry.
• Lead Sales and Client Relationship Management Teams: Provide guidance and support to sales teams, ensuring alignment with business development strategies.
• Complex Pursuits and Pitches Advice: Offer strategic advice during complex business pursuits and pitches to secure new contracts.
• Develop Internal and External Relationships: Strengthen connections that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
• Build Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with various departments to foster sustainable, long-term growth.
• Track Emerging Markets and Trends: Stay informed about market trends and emerging opportunities, adopting a future-forward mindset.
• Foster an Entrepreneurial Growth Culture: Promote and maintain a culture of innovation and growth throughout the company and across all teams.
• Research and Identify New Markets: Conduct market research to identify potential new markets and business opportunities.

Your Profile

You have:

• Proven experience in business development, preferably within the chemical or industrial sector.
• Strong network and connections within the industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
