Join our Digital Finance team within EY Technology Consulting Belgium and work with international corporate clients on transforming their finance function. We help organizations and their Finance leaders streamline operations, align finance with strategy, and embed performance-driven cultures.
As a Finance Transformation Professional, you'll contribute to projects in:
- Finance Transformation Strategy & Roadmap
- Finance Statement Close & Consolidations
- FP&A, Controlling Excellence & Management Reporting
- Finance Operating Model Design
- CPM/EPM Implementations
The Role:
As a Senior Manager, you will play a key leadership role in both client delivery and business development. You are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, while also identifying new business opportunities in collaboration with EY Partners. You will guide projects from start to finish, ensuring a high standard of quality and operational efficiency throughout.
Collaboration is central to the role — you’ll work closely with colleagues across various EY teams to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions. Your expertise and strategic perspective will contribute to thought leadership within the team and in the broader market.
In your role, you will manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Flexibility is key, as many of our client projects require travel, up to around 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
Client/Project Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise CCH Tagetik/Board International implementation projects, examining clients’ internal finance and accounting processes and advising on solutions around creating efficient processes or improving existing processes
- Champion CCH Tagetik/Board International solutions through full project cycle – requirements and design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support
- Coordinate full pre-sales cycle work – client introduction, scoping, drafting estimate and proposal, creating statement of work contract
- System migration support to transition from on-premises consolidation systems like HFM to cloud-based systems (i.e., CCH Tagetik/Board International)
- Deploy the solution to end-users and provide overall support and training – including data validation activities
- Work with leadership to develop and grow the practice further including revenue attainment, sales and marketing assets, partnership with CCH Tagetik/Board International, internal COE and helpdesk, training, recruiting, onboarding, and staffing
People Management
- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff
- Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training Finance & Performance Management professionals
- Assist with technical guidance to other developers, incl. training of EY and client staff
- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Master’s in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- At least 6–7 years’ experience in consulting or industry
- Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik or Board International implementations
- Solid understanding of financial processes (close, FP&A, EPM)
- Experience with end-to-end implementations and data integration
- Experience with data integration between different systems/sources,
- Subject matter expertise in Financial Close and Consolidation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation
- Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a strong plus
