You will be part of our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team, supporting entrepreneurs, companies and business owners in achieving their operational goals in a taxeffective manner. Our group combines three competencies: transfer pricing, transaction tax and domestic & international tax advisory. This job profile relates to the tax advisory competency.

Our practice helps financial sponsors, private capital enterprises and multinational corporations proactively address challenges by bringing globally connected services to all tax aspects of their business, operational and investment models, corporate structure, treasury management and overall tax and transaction strategy. This encompasses the client’s full transaction life cycle, from strategy and corporate finance, through to acquisition, optimization and eventual disposal. Through our international network across the globe, our support covers domestic and international tax matters in all countries needed. In the fast changing international (tax) landscape with plenty of economic and political pressure, we use our expertise and network to guide our clients in risk mitigation, planning, compliance and controversy.

Careful tax planning is critical for business success in an unpredictable global economy. Tax planning is also necessary for individuals who face their own challenges owning, managing and preserving businesses and wealth in a complex regulatory environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for a wide range of clients, with a mixed background and mixed size.
• You will be a counselor to our junior professionals.
• You will be the trusted advisor our clients are looking for in a tax consultant, linking their needs to our wide (international) network and multidisciplinary solutions.
• You will advise them on their tax strategy, as well as assist them in the organization of their tax compliance and assist them in their contacts with the tax administration, be it in their negotiations to obtain advance tax rulings or assisting them during tax audits or controversy resulting from such audit.
• You will have the opportunity to obtain the best learning, i.e. on the job and following our learning & development program, to further specialize yourself in tax topics, for which you will have the opportunity to put yourself in the spotlight via internal and external publishing.
• You will  actively participate to and lead trainings and be responsible for the development of your team members and their technical knowledge.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in law or economics with a supplementary degree in fiscal matters.
• 5-9 years of relevant experience in corporate tax matters.
• Able to work autonomously in the delegated responsibilities.
• Market and client focused.
• Good project and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English AND Dutch or French.
• Preferably ITAA certified or willing to obtain the certification.
• Dynamic, innovative & problem resolution focus with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
