The opportunity

We are looking for an Design Innovation Specialist for EY wavespace ASEAN team. In EY wavespace, we design immersive programs and experiences that bring the right people together, giving them the mindset and collaborative tools to think differently. These days we are doing this both virtually, in-person, and blended sessions for clients around the world.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Be part of the EY wavespace team to solve complex business challenges through the use of design and technology
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all business lines in client engagements and pursuits
• Conceptualise and create effective design assets to facilitate discussions and ideation in client-facing workshops
• Work with external ecosystem partners and/or alliances, where needed, to ensure effective solutioning and quality control
• Contribute to the business of EY wavespace, in areas including (but not limited to) business development, methodology enhancement, effective use of technology, marketing and creating awareness.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
• Strong project management and organisational skills are essential
• Understanding and experience in applying design thinking to solve business challenges
• Proficiency in using technology tools to visualise ideas and concepts, as well as designing and facilitating workshops
• Familiarity with agile project management practices to adapt quickly to changes and deliver iterative solutions
• Possess a good level of business acumen with the ability to align innovative solutions with business goals
• Creative problem solving, including use of AI tools, to tackle challenges effectively
• Comfortable with fostering relationships with clients, stakeholders and industry experts to encourage collaboration
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and communicate ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience in leveraging AI for design work and workshop facilitation. 
• Experience using design and collaboration tools such as Adobe, Mural, Miro, Figma, Lucid and/or their equivalent
• Experience with conducting market research and analysing data to inform design and business decisions would be a plus
