Experience Management Associate (West or Central time zones preferred)

 

Our Experience Management (EM) team is committed to providing our people with relevant experiences to promote career development and growth. As an Experience Manager, you’ll be networking and identifying talent with specific skillsets and interests to build diverse teams supporting our clients. You’ll build relationships at all levels and be a trusted business partner to our business leaders.  You’ll also interact with various business functions including finance, human resources and business development and be a crucial piece in helping to drive our business in meeting strategic goals 

The opportunity

You'll work to successfully execute resource/scheduling assignments that are complex, great in scope and require extensive relationships with engagement subarea managers. You'll focus on matching resource needs with availability while taking into consideration skills required, personal preferences and engagement risk. You'll coordinate with other experience management associates and client service leaders to balance workloads and address staffing needs as required. 

Your key responsibilities

  • Assign appropriate client service personnel to engagements by accessing information, reviewing options available and presenting recommendations based on subarea policies and client requirements. Challenge, as appropriate, scheduled hours and personnel to make sure of efficient utilization of resources.
  • Promote and monitor the sharing of resources; network with other team members across subareas and service lines to address resource needs and/or conflicts.
  • Resolve conflicts with engagement team members to identify appropriate alternatives in a timely manner considering engagement requirements and developmental goals of supported staff.
  • Build relationships and communicate continually with client service personnel to identify personal schedule preferences and/or career development issues.
  • Focus on engagement needs while balancing individual preferences.
  • Identify and address scheduling issues (e.g., excessively high/low utilization, morale issues, performance issues, staff/engagement/client issues).
  • Counsel supported personnel as needed/requested; raise individual issues to appropriate leadership.
  • Work with recruiters for campus and experienced hires regarding needs and start dates for interns, staff hires and transfers.
  • Review actual and projected utilization, anticipate availability and proactively take action to decrease unassigned time while balancing the workload of supported client-serving individuals.
  • Utilize scheduling tools to assist in forecasting hours, tracking utilization and monitoring headcount. Raise issues identified to Resource Management leadership.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 0-3 years of experience. Experience in a professional services firm desired

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Proficiency in use of scheduling tool and other Microsoft applications
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks; strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $58,900 to $106,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $70,600 to $121,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
