Technology Consulting, Technologies & Platforms, Finance Management - Subledger (Financial Services Office) (Senior Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1718142), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX. 
 
Design, build and deploy technology solutions which helps financial services clients enhance the operating effectiveness of the finance and operations functions. Manage Assist clients to shift their emphasis from transaction-level control, processing and reporting to more value driven, decision support and analytics. Lead project teams through all phases of the technology delivery life cycle. Provide specific subject matter expertise to the design and integration phase of each project, helping to give specificity to the appropriate architecture, data model, system design and interfacing requirements. Lead engagement teams in assisting financial service clients on a variety of business process services that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities. 
 
Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds by providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services. Generate and manage new business opportunities. 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 - 45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field and 8 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience). Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS),  or a related field and 7 years of work experience. 

Must have 7 years of experience in defining business and technical requirements and implementing relevant technical solutions. 
  
Must have 4 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the following: 
- relevant experience at a private equity company or comparable work experience auditing private equity funds; and/or 
- acting as a consultant for private equity operations or fund accounting system transformation. 
  
Must have 5 years of experience with one or a combination of any of the following: system implementation execution, system implementation design, and/or lean/six-sigma operational improvement projects. 
  
Must have 5 years of project experience in all of the following areas: 
- Finance transformation and accelerated close; 
- Sub-ledger and/or ledger redesign; 
- Management reporting enhancement, business intelligence and/or decision support; 
- Enterprise application integration; 
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and business and/or merger Integration; and/or 
- Reconciliation redesign or improvement. 
  
Must have 5 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the following accounting software: FIS Investran, Blackrock eFront, LemonEdge, Entrilia, and/or AllVue. 
  
Must have 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the following areas: 
- Finance Strategy (Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles) 
- Financial Accounting, and Reporting operations and/or technology 
- General Ledger, or ERP Systems features 
- Private equity Subledger System, and Data Warehousing features 
- Financial Close and Reconciliations features 
- Statutory Reporting Systems features 
- Enterprise Technology Expense Reduction. 
     
Must have 5 years of experience in all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies. 
  
Must have 5 years of experience with all the following: 
 - Experience in technical architecture design; 
 - Experience with private equity data needed to perform fund accounting; and 
 - Experience leading and developing a team of consulting professionals, including counselling, and 
mentoring junior level consultants by providing structured, on-the-job feedback. 
  
Must have 5 years business and accounting experience with private equity fund, including understanding lifecycle events and resulting accounting; calculations relating to management fee, carried interest, waterfall, and investor rebalance; and financial and regulatory reporting required of private equity funds. 
  
Must have 2 years of experience supporting business development efforts, in the RFP process including any combination of all the following: Response, Research, Proposal, Client Presentation, and Pricing and/or SOW drafting. 
  
Requires domestic travel up to 75% to serve client needs.
