The opportunity
As a Tax Senior in Tax Technology and Transformation you have a critical role responsible for the design, development, and implementation of innovative tax technology solutions to optimize tax function effectiveness and efficiency for our clients. You will work at the intersection of tax and technology, leveraging advanced tools and project management methodologies to drive transformation in tax processes. You will also review the work of Staff members and will provide supervision to them.
We are seeking a ServiceNow developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a
background in ServiceNow development and a passion for creating efficient and effective
workflow solutions. As a Senior, you will be responsible for designing, developing,
and implementing ServiceNow applications and integrations to meet the needs of internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Release, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Project & Portfolio (PPM), Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), and Reporting/Performance Analytics.
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet client requirements, including workflows, business rules, UI actions, client scripts and ACLs.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and integration documentation.
- Formulate testing approaches, develop test cases, and deploy code into production in defined releases.
- Formulate and socialize development best practices within ServiceNow, utilizing studio and team development features to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
- Work closely with business and internal teams to ensure user stories are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable.

To qualify for this role you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
- CSA (Certified System Administrator) and/or CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification
- Proficiency in ServiceNow Studio, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
- Proficient debugging skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently at L2/ L3 levels including error tracking
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Knowledge on front-end, back-end, databases, and software development life cycle and basic understanding of Global and/or US Tax Withholding and Information Reporting is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with the following technologies is desirable: Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira, Docker, and Postman

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $86,000 to $142,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,300 to $161,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
