Technology Consulting - Technologies & Platforms - Salesforce.com Technical Architect - Manager (Multiple Positions) (1552718), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX.  
 
Provide clients with a unique business perspective on the need for continuing innovation to remain competitive.  Evaluate, design, customize and optimize Digital and Cloud based solutions using the Salesforce.com platform. Lead discovery meetings to identify system requirements and establish an understanding of business processes with the client. Learn new client information quickly, and translate data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems. Lead solutioning and design. Hold system design discussions and recommend alternate choices, trade-offs, and impact analysis. Write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable to develop, test, deploy and support data-driven internet, intranet and extranet applications. Work with developers to define and create specifications for any custom code or data migration requirements. During technical implementations finalize architecture specification, create designs as they relate to customizations and/or integration of CRM. Provide mentoring and leadership to less experienced developers. Identify potential risks (people and technology), develop plans for mitigation, and support the change management efforts. Participate in the pre-sales process as needed for RFPs and SOWs.
  
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience. 
   
Must have 4 years of experience or 6 projects implementing Salesforce.com, including hands on experience with configuration and customizations, with teams of 5 or more people.
   
Must have 2 years of Salesforce.com technical architecture experience on enterprise projects. 
  
Must have 4 years of experience with at least one of the following object-oriented programming languages: Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, XML, or HTML.
   
Must have 3 years of experience with Force.com platform programming in one or combination of any of the following: Apex, Visualforce, and/or SOQL.
   
Must have 3 years of experience with Force.com platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices regarding security and automation.
   
Must have 2 years of experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems.
   
Must have 2 years of experience leading teams of developers. 
  
Must have 1 year of experience working with relational database concepts. 
  
Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification or must be able to obtain this certification within one year of hire.
   
Requires travel up to 50%, including international travel up to 10% to serve client needs.
