At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We are a professional services firm with a business unit dedicated to the financial services marketplace. Our teams have been at the forefront of every event that has reshaped and redefined the financial services industry. If you have a passion for rallying together to solve the most complex challenges in the financial services industry, come join our dynamic team!

We help our clients transform. Together we are changing the way they interact with their Customers, Employees and Partners alike. We are modernizing their applications, creating new ones and driving business efficiency across their ever-changing platform and channel infrastructures. Everything we do centers around this simple story.

The opportunity

As a Technology Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

We are looking for highly technical .NET Engineers who will lead the delivery of high-volume, business-critical production platforms for our financial services clients. The team leverages .NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, WCF, RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, SQL Server and Oracle databases, and modern CI/CD tooling to modernize enterprise applications. This role provides architecture, governance, and technical leadership across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

The goal is to help clients solve complex business problems by delivering robust, high-volume enterprise solutions. You will own end-to-end architecture and technology roadmaps, establish standards and delivery governance, lead cross-team decisions and modernization, and provide technical leadership that influences senior stakeholders and mentors other technical leaders.

Your leadership and management responsibilities

As a Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be accountable for how the work gets done as much as what gets built. You’ll set the technical direction for your teams, build the capability of the people around you, and give our clients and senior stakeholders the confidence that delivery is in safe hands.

  • Own end-to-end application architecture and technology roadmaps across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives, and hold the teams accountable for delivering against them.
  • Establish secure engineering patterns, reusable frameworks, and delivery governance, and make sure they are consistently adopted across engagements.
  • Lead cross-team decisions, modernization efforts, dependencies, and technical risk, escalating and resolving issues before they affect client delivery.
  • Influence senior client and internal stakeholders, communicating technical direction and trade-offs in terms the business understands.
  • Mentor and develop technical leaders and engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and career guidance that helps our people grow.
  • Define reusable standards and drive organizational capability improvement, so that each engagement leaves the practice stronger than it found it.
  • Apply and champion code quality, security, testing, and automation standards across the teams you lead, and translate requirements into secure, well-integrated applications.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Deep hands-on expertise across .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and C#, including designing and operating enterprise-scale services.
  • Expertise building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures for high-volume, business-critical platforms.
  • Experience with build, deployment, and CI/CD tooling including uDeploy, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, and Groovy.
  • Experience with databases and application servers including SQL Server, Oracle, and IIS.
  • Apply TDD, CI/CD, and automated regression testing practices, and contribute practical improvements.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • BS/BA or advanced degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software development for business-critical, enterprise-wide applications, architecture, and technical leadership.
  • Expertise with .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and C#.
  • Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with SOAP, JSON, XML, log4net, uDeploy, Jenkins, SQL Server, IIS, Oracle, Ant, Maven, and Groovy.
  • Experience with Oracle and the ability to write and tune SQL queries.
  • TDD, CI/CD, and automated regression testing skills a plus.
  • Containerization and AWS exposure, and AWS Cloud Certification, a plus.
  • Proven experience owning application architecture, establishing engineering governance, and mentoring technical leaders.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with senior business and technical stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with the following technologies
  • .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, C#, and IIS
  • RESTful APIs, microservices, SOAP, and JSON
  • SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Entity Framework and data access patterns
  • uDeploy, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, and Groovy
  • Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), with AWS or Azure exposure
  • GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) for developer productivity
  • Distributed database technologies (e.g., CockroachDB), including replication strategies, consistency models, and high-availability design principles
  • Financial brokerage domain knowledge

We’re interested in intellectually curious people with a passion for finding new and innovative ways to make things better. You’ll also need to be a self-starter and quick learner with a strong background in computer science from both theoretical and practical points of view. If you’re ready to be the future of the group and make your mark in a growing business, this role is for you.
