The Opportunity
As a Business Systems Analyst within our Financial Services Service Delivery Center, you will support banking technology transformation initiatives across core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, onboarding, servicing, and integration domains. You will help gather and document requirements, analyze business processes and data, and support platform implementation, modernization, migration, integration, testing, and continuous-improvement activities under the guidance of senior team members.
Your Key Responsibilities
-
Work with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
-
Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, business rules, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, platform interactions, and supporting requirements artifacts.
-
Participate in stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, fit-gap discussions, solution walkthroughs, backlog-refinement sessions, and platform demonstrations.
-
Analyze business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
-
Support business and system analysis activities for banking platform implementations, core modernization initiatives, digital banking programs, platform migrations, and transformation projects under the guidance of senior team members.
-
Assist with platform migration and data-conversion activities, including source-to-target mapping, business-rule documentation, data validation, reconciliation support, migration-testing preparation, and issue tracking.
-
Support documentation of system integration requirements across core banking platforms, digital channels, payment systems, lending platforms, customer onboarding solutions, CRM systems, data warehouses, and downstream reporting applications.
-
Participate in platform implementation and modernization testing, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect tracking, retesting, and production-readiness support.
-
Perform basic data analysis, field-level mapping, validation, reconciliation, and exception analysis.
-
Assist with documenting APIs, system interfaces, file exchanges, JSON or XML payloads, data flows, validations, and error scenarios under the guidance of senior team members.
-
Maintain requirements traceability and support change-control processes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
-
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, defect documentation, status updates, presentations, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
-
Track assigned risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, dependencies, and actions, and escalate roadblocks when needed.
-
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, distributed, offshore, vendor, and client teams.
Preferred Banking Platform Exposure
Exposure to banking platform implementation, modernization, migration, integration, conversion, testing, or enhancement initiatives is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in building banking platform expertise and applying business-analysis skills in banking transformation programs.
