Join our Administrative & Workplace Services (AWS) Meeting & Events team and you will be an integral part of our business enablement functions that keeps our organization running strong. You will use your interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with employees at all levels. As an AWS Meeting & Events Senior Associate, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. This role has the flexibility to work from home, with visits to the local office as needed for events and meetings.
The opportunity
You’ll have the responsibility to assist with the planning, coordination and execution of small to mid-scale events taking place in EY offices as well as facilitating the usage of Small Meeting Technologies (SMTs) for off-site events while following the EY Meetings & Events (M&E) guidelines. You may work with EY teams (CBRE, OSTS, Creative Services, etc.) in the delivery of events. You may also act as the project manager for department projects and initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
You will partner with meeting sponsor and/or requester to understand the requirements of their events. Follow EY guidelines starting from the event pre-approval process, recommend the best approach based on the assigned M&E Service Level, and collaborate with SMTs/EY teams on the event logistics throughout the lifecycle of the event. You’ll consistently and seamlessly deliver meetings and events that add to the success of the meeting’s objectives, maximize value for the firm and optimize the meeting’s budget.
Skills and attributes for success
- Knowledge of events, including event software and web registration
- Strong customer service focus and adherence to EY policies
- Excellent communication and strong teaming skills
- Ongoing attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential
- Must be able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Expertise in Microsoft Office programs (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certified Meeting Professional certification
