Test Lead - Automation
Responsibilities:
- Responsible in leading a project team and monitor all the project activities from scratch.
- Participate and lead all the status calls, Scrum calls and client meetings. Review an send out the DSR & WSR to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain robust testing strategies and processes, and ensure they are properly implemented and followed.
- Prepare test Planning, estimation, test Strategy, Requirement gathering/analysis, prepare test scenarios & test scripts based on the requirements, execute the planned test cases and report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.
- Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA & ALM.
- Working knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, playwright etc.
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAI)
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly.
- The ability to define, monitor, and report on SLAs to ensure that services meet agreed-upon performance and availability standards.
- Should be ready to do an individual contributor as well as Team Leader role is what we look for.
- Manage resources effectively ensuring on-time delivery of products.
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks related to software quality at each phase of the software testing process.
- Responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions and/or projects by delivering agreed activities, applying judgement, and selecting appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considerate of success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues.
- Accountable for meeting own targets which impact the immediate team.
- May help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members.
- Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)
Skills Required:
- Should have experience on any of Non-Financial domains like Consumer Products and Retail, Health and Life Science, Telecom, Media and Entertainment, Oil and Natural Gas, Power and Utilities, Manufacturing etc.
- 5-9 Years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly.
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Competent technical skills
- The ability to work in a team and individually
- Organisational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines
- Passion for working with technology.
