Insurance, Banking Wealth & Asset Management, Agriculture, Hotel and hospitality industries Senior to Manager (multiple positions, multiple ranks)

EY Sri Lanka's special project team supports global teams in auditing of agriculture, hotel and hospitality, insurance, banking and fi nancial services as well as asset & wealth management entities located around the globe- which is a unique, industry focused practice. This team based in Sri Lanka, offers wide range of audit services to a continuously growing portfolio of diverse fi nancial service clients using state-of-the art technology platforms.

By joining the EY Sri Lanka's special fi nancial services project team, you will work virtually as a part of global audit teams to provide audit and assurance services to global entities using international practices. You will also be trained by experts to carry out specifi ed tasks in EY proprietary software platforms. 

We are seeking to engage high performing appropriately qualifi ed professionals, as full-time employees working from home.

To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements: 

• Be qualifi ed/passed fi nalist/fi nalists or strategic level students of CA Sri Lanka or ACCA 
• At least 3 years of prior experience preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit fi rm is a must 
• Previous experience in auditing Financial Services, Agriculture, Hotel and hospitality entities is mandatory 
• Having hands-on skills in using audit software would be an added advantage 
• Flexibility to work in different time-zones and according to international calendar as well as long hours to complete allocated tasks, in a virtual work-from-home environment 
• Excellent oral and written English skills 
• Flexibility to constantly adapt in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail 
• Team working skills and ability to work productively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Performing complex and specifi c audit procedures, while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies 
• Plan, conduct and manage audit and assurance engagements in accordance with relevant international accounting and auditing standards
• Proactively building relationships that support our ability to provide tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development
• Prioritize and handle multiple assignments in challenging environments
