EY- Assurance – Senior Manager – AOA

As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the principal objectives will be to ensure that consistent, and high-quality service is provided by the team by taking end-to-end project ownership and accomplishing the define goals.  

 

The opportunity

 

We’re looking for incumbents who will be responsible for support activities and service delivery for engagements in Americas, Europe and the UK. In addition to managing the support and service delivery, the individual will coach team members, provide technical support and assist in growing the EY GDS AOA portfolio.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

•    Manage portfolio and market leadership

•    Actively support the EY GDS AOA segment agenda for growth and quality initiatives

•    Develop strong relationships with onshore stakeholders, GDS Assurance senior managers and managers, and counterparts from other EY GDS service lines 

•    Enhance relationships and leverage connections to identify and convert business opportunities 

•    Plan for annual growth, resource and activities for the segment

•    Monitor KPIs, such as growth, quality feedback, utilization, risk management compliance and attrition for the teams under supervision and take appropriate action, wherever required 

•    Promote internal communication between teams and assist them in driving change and reinforcing quality through developing and following proper protocols for exceptional  service delivery

•    Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback and training

•    Address service delivery quality issues

•    Organize and provide technical training

•    Share best practices with the teams

•     Develop an understanding of EY Risk Management procedures and ensure that these areembedded in the engagement team’s work

•    Support global or GDS quality programs

•   Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills

•   Ability to be flexible and self-disciplined to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously through effective prioritization and management  

•    Analyze complex or unusual problems and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions

•    Ability to quickly and easily create, gather and analyze data from a variety of sources

•    A robust and resilient disposition, able to encourage discipline in team behaviours  

•     Lead a team of managers, assistant managers, team leads, seniors and associates

•     Empower, mentor, coach and guide managers and assistant managers to manage their own performance and of their teams to create a pipeline of potential talent

•     Identify training needs (technical and non-technical) with respect to client servicing decision making and people issues

•     Conduct EY GDS AOA team's performance reviews


To qualify for the role, you must have

 

•    10+ years’ experience (and demonstrated competence, depth, and breadth) of operational and project management experience  
•    10+ years’ experience of people management, coaching and leveraging work through others. 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

•    Interest in business and commerciality.
