Role Overview

We are seeking a Frontend Architect / Engineering Manager with strong hands‑on React expertise to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high‑performance frontend solutions. This role balances deep technical ownership with people leadership, architecture governance, and cross‑team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture for large‑scale digital platforms using React (Web / Micro‑frontends).
• Define and enforce UI engineering standards, component design systems, and performance best practices.
• Remain hands‑on with React, TypeScript, state management, and modern build pipelines.
• Lead and mentor frontend engineers; conduct code reviews and technical coaching.
• Collaborate with UX, backend, platform, and solution architects to align end‑to‑end design.
• Drive frontend modernization, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization initiatives.
• Support delivery management with estimations, dependency planning, and technical risk mitigation.
• Contribute to architectural governance, solution reviews, and technical decision making.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience in frontend or full‑stack engineering.
• Strong hands‑on React experience (Hooks, Context, Redux / alternatives).
• Expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• Experience with micro‑frontend architecture, module federation, or similar patterns.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, security, and accessibility.
• Experience leading teams, managing delivery, and mentoring engineers.

Good to Have

• Experience in Financial Services / Insurance / Enterprise Digital platforms.
• Exposure to Next.js, Vite, Webpack, CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Design Systems, Storybook, and UI testing frameworks.
