EY- Assurance – Senior – AOA
As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the role requires the incumbent to proactively develop relationships with the global EY teams serving these engagements and supervise the delivery of GDS engagement management support activities.
The opportunity
We’re looking for the incumbents who are responsible to coach, mentor and develop a strong team, manage utilization and grow the depth and breadth of our support to the organization’s priority engagements.
Your key responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with EY GDS review teams to oversee global assurance reviews for allocated clients.
• Maintain and update the engagement team database and contact lists.
• Identify problems and exceptions accurately and ensure that teams are informed in a timely manner
• Be responsible for quality review of the staff’s work and overall adherence to engagement deadlines
• Attend and participate in weekly/biweekly calls with the engagement teams and share progress and status updates
• Act as a knowledge champion for complex activities and tools and provide subject- matter expertise to the team. Share best practices across account teams on various engagements
• Provide new hire training and refresher training for sharing updates and knowledge.
• Providing proactive book of business management solutions to clients, utilizing cost-effective and scalable penetration services.
• Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis to identify opportunities and risks, delivering valuable insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive strategic decision-making.
• Drive client engagement by offering tailored solutions that optimize resource allocation and enhance overall business performance.
• Serve as the onshore point of contact for all portfolio accounts.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationship
• Overseeing customer account management, including adding value as well as planning and execution of agreed budget with respect to engagement economics and margins.
• Identify the opportunity areas to drive business growth, expand market presence, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
• Support project leads in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and budgetary requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve project milestones and objectives effectively.

To qualify for the role, you must have
• 3-6 years of overall work relevant experience in process management and project management (MBA or Certified PMP preferred).
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Interest in business and commerciality
• Strong influencing skills and assertiveness
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
