Corporate Governance Manager

We are seeking a resource with strong experience and expertise in corporate governance within the Banking and Financial Services Industry, particularly in delivering assurance-related services, supporting regulatory requirements, and engaging with regulated entities and regulatory authorities.

 

Role Purpose

To support Assurance engagements relating to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and assurance reporting for clients within the Banking and Financial Services sector, while providing company secretarial and governance-related support.

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, assurance reporting, company secretarial work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in corporate governance within the Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI).
  • Strong knowledge of Central Bank Corporate Governance Directives, banking regulations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience in preparing and supporting assurance reports and regulatory submissions for clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Professional qualification or academic background in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, Boards, Committees, and regulatory bodies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Assurance engagements relating to corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the Banking and Financial Services sector.
  • Perform governance reviews and assessments against regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
  • Assist in the preparation of assurance reports and governance-related deliverables for clients and regulators.
  • Provide company secretarial support, including preparation of Board and Committee papers, minutes, resolutions, and statutory documentation.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide updates on governance and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders on governance, compliance, and assurance-related matters.
  • Support clients in strengthening governance frameworks and meeting regulatory expectations.
