About Global Delivery Services

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

As part of our EY-DET-FS team, person will help clients develop their next-generation digital transformation strategies, solutioning, product development, and cloud migration. He/She has to build highly available and heavy traffic fault-tolerant applications using Java, Python, and advanced data/ML technologies. He/She will work with cutting-edge technologies and will help design solutions for the banking, financial services, and insurance sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your Key Responsibilities  

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance culture, career development, and coaching.

- Hands-on development and implementation of advanced big data ingestion, data warehouse, and analytics systems.

- Champion the development of AI-powered chatbots to enhance user engagement and customer interactions.

- Streamline delivery processes by establishing CI/CD pipelines, implementing Agile methodologies, and managing deployment architectures for large-scale, high-impact projects.

- Advise on enterprise vision and align technical solutions with client business needs.

- Work as an advisory consultant for pivotal products and technologies for clients in EMEA and APAC regions.

- Author and implement solution architecture documents, evaluate technology stacks, and develop high-level and low-level designs for client projects.

- Manage project estimations, SLA adherence, resource allocation, and customer feedback, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have  

- Expertise in Java (Spring, Hibernate, Spring MVC), Mule, Drools, and Adeptia for robust application development.

- Proficient in EDI formats, ActiveMQ, JMS, Spring Jersey, REST, XML, XSD, Hibernate Envers, and JSON for seamless system integration.

- Skilled in Jenkins, SVN, JUnit, Jasper Reports, and StarTeam for CI/CD, code configuration, and reporting.

- Experienced with Unix, Linux, Windows, SAML, SSO, and technologies like Oracle and JDBC for secure, multi-platform deployment.
