Generative AI Specialist - Manager

Experience: 4-8 years

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Generative AI Specialist to join our team, focusing on delivering innovative AI solutions in the banking and insurance sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in generative AI models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic systems, and automation technologies, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. This role will involve leading the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of generative AI models tailored for banking and insurance applications, including fraud detection, risk assessment, claims processing, and customer engagement.
• Utilize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate AI solutions into existing workflows across banking and insurance operations.
• Leverage Azure services for deploying, managing, and scaling AI models and applications relevant to both sectors.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in generative AI and their applicability to banking and insurance, providing strategic recommendations for implementation.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency within the Azure environment.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in generative AI and related technologies.
• Document processes, methodologies, and results to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in developing and deploying generative AI models and solutions, preferably in the banking and insurance sectors.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, with extensive experience in AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic systems.
• Proven experience with automation tools and frameworks, particularly in the context of Azure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and language models (e.g., GPT, BERT) as applied to banking and insurance use cases.
• Experience with Azure AI services and tools (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques relevant to banking and insurance.
