EY-Advisory - Data and Analytics – Senior – Data Engineering (Snowflake)

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Snowflake Development:
• Design and implement Snowflake-based data warehouses.
• Develop and optimize SnowProcs, SnowSQL scripts, and advanced Snowflake features.
• Data Pipeline Design:
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Performance Optimization:
• Tune queries, manage compute resources, and optimize storage for cost and speed.
• Programming & Automation:
• Use Python and SQL for data engineering tasks and automation.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Snowflake Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake DW, SnowProcs, SnowSQL, and performance tuning.
• Programming:
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
• Data Processing Frameworks:
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, Spark, or similar for orchestration.
• Database Management:
• Solid understanding of schema design and relational database principles.
• Pipeline Design:
• Experience with real-time and batch data processing systems.

• Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Core or Advanced.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work in agile environments.

Experience :

• Should have 5+ years of Relevant Experience.
