EY-Advisory - Data and Analytics – Reporting Manager

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Reporting Manager to lead our reporting and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI and SQL, proven leadership skills, and deep understanding of the Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) domain. This role involves managing a team of BI developers, defining reporting strategies, and delivering high-quality dashboards and insights to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of reporting analysts and Power BI developers.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
• Reporting Strategy & Governance:
  • Define and implement reporting standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and accuracy across all reports and dashboards.
• Power BI Development:
  • Oversee the design and development of advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Guide the team in implementing DAX calculations, data modelling, and performance optimization.
• Data Integration & Management:
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Snowflake, APIs, etc.).
  • Ensure efficient data pipelines and transformations for reporting needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and business units.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query).
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Domain Knowledge:
  • Hands-on experience in Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) domain.
• Leadership:
  • Proven experience managing BI/reporting teams and delivering enterprise-level reporting solutions.
• Analytical & Communication Skills:
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and present insights clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Other BI Tools: Exposure to Tableau or Qlik is a plus.

Experience :

• Should have 8+ years of Relevant Experience.
