The Opportunity:
The Talent Team Coordinator (TTC) Team Lead works within the TTC team in the Talent Enablement Center (TEC) to provide exceptional client service to our Talent Consultant (TC), Strategic Talent Consultant (STC), and Talent Leader clients.
- The role may work as part of project teams to provide advanced operational support to projects/programs
- The TTC/TRT Team Lead is called upon to assist in delivering services and managing relationships
- The TTC/TRT Team Lead could be asked to serve as counselor and to provide backup support to their TTC/TRT counterpart
Your key responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert on team processes, tools and reporting
- Review reporting through second level review and provide full analysis of relevant trends for leadership
- Identify the need for, develop and facilitate departmental training material/updates
- Review the work of team members and coach for consistent and accurate delivery
- Manage escalations as needed and report/address data incidents timely
- Provide counseling support in alignment with supervisor and team goals
- Conduct performance management conversations followed with written documentation
- Perform team or supervisor duties in a backup capacity as needed
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
- Has in-depth knowledge of the firm’s business, organizational structure and human resources operations and how this relates to their area and overall Talent operations
- Understands and navigates dependencies with other Talent teams and stakeholders, manages relationships well and partners with leaders to address areas of misalignment
- Uses knowledge and skills to analyze trends, challenge existing processes and makes recommendations to improve processes and/or operational efficiencies related to their area of expertise
- Uses proven judgment in applying policies and procedures
- Fairly evaluates performance to policies and procedures, gains alignment with supervisor and coaches counselees to improve quality, efficiency and trust with clients
- Demonstrates professionalism, leadership, proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Follows through on commitments and accepts ownership of results
Supervision Responsibilities
- Performs duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision from department Supervisor in accordance with department(s) policies, procedures and service level agreements
- Exercises a high degree of independence and autonomy, yet works collaboratively with leaders to ensure alignment and consistency
- Identifies the need for, develops and implements training to all department personnel – new and ongoing
- Communicates with and influences department manager and leadership in area of expertise
- May measure the accuracy and timeliness of staffs’ output and provides recommendation on individual and team improvements.
- Provide regular or spot coaching to teammates on performance, as directed by Supervisor
- In the absence of the Supervisor, the TTC Team Lead may function on behalf of the Supervisor
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders in and outside of Talent; supports an environment that promotes effective teamwork and collaboration
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Understands the expectations of stakeholders and delivers high quality, efficient service exceeding client expectations
- Ability to identify and resolve issues that impact the delivery of quality service
- Adheres to risk management practices
- Basic project management skills (e.g., identify objectives and stakeholders, collect inputs, provide status updates, confirm decisions, manage communications)
- Strong knowledge and application of relevant EY Talent policies
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to meet new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job.
- Interacts effectively with others, developing rapport within and outside of Talent
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency with firm standard technology including MS Office applications (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Intranet, and other Talent related applications.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to strengthen individual and team performance

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $56,600 to $102,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $67,900 to $116,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
