Assurance - ASU Other - Methodology and Enablement (Senior Manager)(Multiple Positions)(1492049), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Cleveland, OH. 


Design and develop Digital Audit methodology including changes to the methodology, updating forms and enablement to support the documentation of methodology objectives. Responsible for supporting the definition of and developing technical content related to data analytic considerations across the entire population of objects within EY GAM. Responsibilities include designing technical changes to GAM objectives for data analytics, original writing of the changes necessary, and liaising with stakeholders, including GASMI, Professional Practice and EY Helix, to confirm technical accuracy. Embed data analytic techniques within an audit engagement strategy. Manage and support a complex portfolio of projects that require the ability to create and implement timelines related to project deliverables; deliver, delegate and assign tasks as well as follow-up on their completion and manage sponsor/customer expectations of the outcome of the deliverable. 
 
Execute firm policies and support firm’s assurance services, including thought leadership, quality control, training and development, recruiting and collaboration with others.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field and 8 years of financial audit work experience (of which 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience). Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance or related field and 7 years of financial audit work experience.  
 
Must have 4 years of experience implementing data analytic account-specific audit programs. 
 
Must have 4 years of audit experience with US GAAP and IFRS. 
 
Must have 4 years of experience with technical accounting and auditing. 
 
Must have 4 years of experience supervising complex teams consisting of ten or more staff members including globally. 
 
Must have 4 years of experience project managing and delivering enablement, design and implementation of accounting tools and testing.  
 
Must have 4 years of experience drafting technical guidance and knowledge of auditing standards.  
 
Must have 4 years of experience developing learning and enablement materials and working with external learning specialists to ensure application of effective instructional design and educational methods. 
 
Must have 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and SharePoint. 
 
Must have active CPA certification or foreign equivalent.  
 
Requires domestic travel up to 30% in order to serve client needs.
