As EY continues to invest in and grow our South Island presence, we are looking for a Manager in our well regarded Corporate Tax team. This role is a key part of our strategy to expand capability, strengthen client relationships and support the next stage of our growth ambition.

 

You’ll play an important role in shaping the future of our Corporate Tax offering in Christchurch - working with a broad client base, contributing to market growth, and supporting the development of our people. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact while building your career within a supportive, high‑performing team.

 

This is a full‑time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

 

 

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

 

In this role, you will be a key member of our team, working closely with our senior leaders, both locally and throughout the Oceania region. You will deliver quality outcomes for clients while contributing to our growth plans in an exciting, faced paced and challenging team. You will lead key client account relationships, work closely with other EY specialist teams from around the globe and be a strong contributor to our strong workplace culture. You will:

 

  • Lead and deliver corporate tax advisory and compliance services for a range of clients
  • Work with some of New Zealand’s largest businesses, including NZX listed and private equity owned companies, as well as large global businesses via the EY global network
  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to EY’s business development initiatives
  • Support, coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture
  • Contribute to practice growth through technical excellence, market insight and innovation

  • Proven experience in corporate tax within a professional services or large corporate environment
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to translate complexity into practical advice

  • A proactive, relationship‑focused approach with an interest in contributing to practice growth
