As our Consultant, you’ll analyze and consult on tax opportunities, typically related to large data sets, identifying and analyzing multi-country tax regulations and the benefits that can be attained.

 

  • Performs and consults on R&D Tax Credit incentives globally, and grants requiring data analysis to determine qualified research expenditures, and preparing technical documentation submitted for these funding opportunities.
  • Assists organizations to proactively plan their tax return, maximize capital allowance, and optimize their location strategy and finance their environmental sustainability .
  • Responsible for contributing to the delivery of processes, solutions and/or projects, by delivering agreed activities, researching and presenting relevant information to inform recommendations.

 

This role is based in our Ōtautahi (Christchurch) office. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

  • R&D business planning experience with a science, technology or engineering background
  • Demonstrate an understanding of, and an ability to research complex tax concepts with limited guidance
  • Successfully maintain and develop productive client relationships

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Knowledge of communication concepts, tools and techniques to accurately and effectively transmit ideas, complex concepts or difficult messages.
